Covid Holiday Drive-thru Experiences
This year has certainly seen some unprecidented times and frrustrating events taking place. Thats why, when sent these amazing oppertinuties to bring out kids on a nightly surprise adventure, we couldnt pass it up!……
Our first trip was the Canadian Tire Christmas Trail and oh boy, it did not disappoint. We loved that it was through Pioneer Village. It cost us 28.25 for a vehicle with five people and also supported an amazing cause Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities
Firstly, Lox was terrified of the huge Nutcracker soldier entertaining everyone at the entrance. The poor thing said she was scared most of the drive but got over it quickly with some milk and cookies from Santas Elves!
Then came the biggest surprise of all…..
Someone was so excited to see Santa again and in true form Lox was not! lol
The second show we did was Holiday Nights of Lights, although the line and wait was long, the number of lights was incredible. It cost 37.86, taxes in, for a family of 5 in one vehicle and supported epilepsy. epilepsytoronto.org
Considering what they had to work with they pulled off a fabulous display of lights. The kids had so much fun being upfront, then up top, while mom had heart attacks until everyone was back to where they were supposed to be buckled in 🙂
Although we did enjoy this trip, we all agreed that The Canadian Tire Christmas Trail was the favorite for our family.
Stay safe and warm during this time, hoping you enjoyed our re-cap and they continue to do these going forward, and support great causes while helping families create lasting memories on a budget. xo
